e.l.f. - HYDRATING BUBBLE MASK

Picture
Hi Everyone!

I have been wanting to try a bubble mask for a while now! With this really wintery weather outside. I figured that I pick up this e.l.f. Cosmetics - Hydrating Bubble Mask to try out! May be a win, win mask!
What they claim it does:

"Cleanse and moisturize your skin with this Hydrating Bubble Mask. Watch the gel fizzes into thousands of tiny bubble that gently wash away dirt and clear out pores, leaving your skin with a hydrated glow."

How To Use:

1. Push down on the top to...

2. Apply a thin layer to slightly damp skin.
Note: It starts to bubble almost on instant contact to the skin. That's why It looks bubbly already instead of a gel. It was hard to get a good shot of it being a gel on the skin all of the face. Hence, the awkward picture!

4. Allow mask to sit on the skin for about 5 - 10 minutes....
Note: It will start to tingle the skin about a minute in.

5. Massage face with fingertips and wash with warm water to remove.
Note: I would personally recommend to wet your fingertips before massaging face. Otherwise (which I have tried out originally), I found that once you get past the bubbles. It's the gel consistency underneath, which is a bit hard to massage the skin. I found that it was pulling a little on my skin. Therefore, I find that wetting you're fingertips before massaging the mask off! It's a lot more gentle!
6. Pat dry.

After Mask
They recommend to use it 1-3 times a week. Which, these pictures where taken during the third time that I used it. I probably should have taken a picture of my skin before I even started this mask. Oh well, we live, we learn, we give love!

Also, it says to avoid eye contact.

Important note: I would recommend that they say "eye area", because if you put this too close to your eyes. The bubbles might get too big and get into your eyelashes (which happened to me in the last picture of having the mask applied.) and then possibly in your eye, G-d forbid. So yeah, I would stay far away from the eye area!
My Thoughts:

I know I've been making notes along the way here, but I thought that I would share with you a little bit more of my thoughts!

This e.l.f. Cosmetics - Hydrating Bubble Mask is  so much fun! I would highly recommend this for like when friends get together for a fun night in or a sleepover, a gift or just for personal fun/pampering! Like I just said before, this is my third time using this mask! Every time I went to go use it I just got so excited!

I did find this to be very hydrating! I feel like if you use heavy moisturizer. Although, I feel like with this mask, you can use a light moisturizer and be fine! But, if not that's fine too!! Use what you have!

Pretty much, enjoyed it however you please!
