3/22/2019 0 Comments MY TRIP TO ISRAELHi Everyone! I'm back!!!! Like I mentioned in my last post! My younger brother got married in Israel! Today I would love to share with you my experience there! We left JKF on Tuesday afternoon with a 3 hour layover in Istanbul! Then on Wednesday morning we finally made our way to Tel Aviv! Wednesday was quite a blur since my husband and I were so jet lagged! First we dropped off our stuff at the AirBNB we were staying at with my Aunt and Cousin right on Ben Yehuda Street! I do remember though, going out to dinner with all of my family that were in town for the wedding! Its was so nice! We went to a nice meat restaurant called Lechem Basar! My Father and Step-Mother were there, my Cousin and my Aunt were there and both of my Brothers were there as well!! Thursday was wedding day!!!! That morning I went into Remat Eshkol with my aunt to get my shatiel (wig) done! I didn't want to get my shatiel done before I went to Israel, because didn't want the stress of being careful with it while traveling. Traveling in-of itself is stressful! Anyway, I got my shatiel done by the lovely, Malka Zwick! She did a wonderful job with my wig! She did a braid on each side that met in the middle and then she just curled the rest! If you are looking to get your shatiel done in Israel! Then I highly recommend you try her out! It was raining the whole day of the wedding, but that didn't stop anything!!! By the time the Chuppah (ceremony) started. The rain had subsided and the fog started to come down around the crowd, making everything look like a dream! I had the honor of walking my (now!) Sister-in-law down the aisle along side her mother! The Chuppah was beautiful and the party was just as awesome!!!! For my dress!! My Best Friend suggested that I look on Amazon and that is exactly where I got my dress!! I originally ordered 2 dress, because a women needs options, but I went with this lace one! I wore a nude shirt underneath and matching nude flats which no one really saw! I did my own makeup! Here is everything I used: Primer - e.l.f. Cosmetics Foundation - Cover FX* Concealer - HAN Skin Care Cosmetics* Powder - Rimmel Blush, Bronzer, Highlighter - Hourglass Eye Shadow - bh Cosmetics Mascara - The Balm Liquid lipstick - Maybelline Friday, we all had a late start because we were all pooped when we got home from the wedding! When we were all finally moving and grooving! We were all hungry and Gabi had been wanting a falafel ever since he heard we were going to Israel! So off we went right downstairs and grabbed a falefel and ate in the square on Ben Yehuda! After we mossed around a bit! Then we finally headed back to get ready and pack to head to Remat Bet Shemesh for Shabbat Sheva Brachos! Shabbos Sheva Brochos was so wonderful! It was filled with friends, family, laughter, tears and pure joy!!! You might have noticed that I don't have any pictures of the Bride, Nechama, from the wedding. We were all a bit busy, b"H! Lucky, I was able to drop by during their Saturday night Sheva Brachos and that is where I got this picutre of my brother (the groom), Nechama (the Bride) and I! That night, I'm also grateful enough that I was able to see two of my really good friends from high school! It was so special to see them both during this trip!! Sunday was our last day in Eretz Yisroel (Israel). Since it was our last day we really wanted to go to the Kotel (Western Wall)! So, my Aunt, my older Brother, my Husband and I all walked our way from our AirBNB to the Kotel!! It was a hike, but we got there!!! It was just so beautiful to see! The people, the sound, the atmosphere is on a whole other level! Its breathtaking! Then 2 hours later we were on the light rail, to the train to the airport! Then home from all the other two air ports we were in! All in all Israel was a beautiful dream!! If you've never been to Israel then I highly recommend you put it on your list!! Thank you so much for stopping by!!! I hope you enjoyed! Have a wonderful day! Love, Elisheva Affiliate links are marked with a *
