About a month ago, I went on a quick trip to the sunny state of Florida! While I was packing I thought that it would be fun to do a blog post sharing with you what's in my travel toiletry bag! If you are interested then just keep reading!
Before we go on into what's in my actual travel toiletry bag! I wanted to tell you a little bit about the actual toiletry bag! I got this toiletry bag off one of those ads on Facebook! I never order anything off of those ads, but i just decided to order mine straight off of Facebook! Although, I do know that you can get it on Amazon also! But this bag it so cool and different! I don't know if you can tell from the picture but inside the bag there are small compartments so it doesn't all fly around in there! Plus this the drawstring on the top for the closer - that helps with everything to stand up in the bag! I think it is such an cool, initiative way of packing! It also fits TONS! of stuff!!
I'm going to start with my skin care! I'm also going to go in order in how I use them and not the order from the picture. I also tried not to bring to much with me so this is not like my full skin care routine. This is like the bare minimum!
So, pretty much, the first thing that I would probably pull out would be my Juice Beauty Green Apple Brightening Gel Cleanser. I actually got this cleanser in my November Petit Vor box. So, the first time that I used this was on my trip to Florida! I really do like the texture and consistency of this cleanser. The only downside that I have about this is that it doesn't help with taking off liquid lipstick, that I brought with me, what so ever. I thought it might take off some it, but it didn't take of any of it. So, I was stuck with bright red lips for the whole next day! All though, I would use this more of a morning cleanser only!
I generally use my Purr-lisse Balancing Moisturizer* more as an eye cream! It say that it's a "fine line prevention - perfect under makeup". I really do feel like it does help with fine lines! Since it come's in such a small bottle (.5 oz./15 mL), I only use it around my eyes and a small amount goes a very long way!
The final step is my sunscreen! I use my La Roche-Poway Anthelios 60 Ultra Light Sunscreen Fluid every day! Sunscreen is the most important thing to put on you face!! I can't stress that enough! If you don't put anything on your face you should a lest put sunscreen on even if it's cloudy out! Ok, I'm going to stop the lecture now! Sorry about that! I do enjoy this sunscreen! But, I do feel like it's a little too greasy for me and it do leave a little white tint on your face. So, I'm not sure if I would get this again after I use it up but it does a great job for now!
The last thing I want to mention is the three serums that I brought with me! Generally I would most likely only bring two serums with me, but I did go to a wedding while I was in Florida! So, I brought my Josie Maran Argon Oil mainly as a primer before makeup. The reason why I bought this along as a prim is because it's very good at minimizing my pores and it really helps with keeping my makeup on! I know a lot of people use this as a daily serum but since it's on the tacky side of consistencies, I use it as a prime!
The other two serums I brought with me as a morning serum and a night serum! Since I didn't bring a moisturizer (it was too bulky). I used this Caudalie Vinoperfect Radiance Serum as a day time moisturizer!
Of course you guys know I can't go a day without using my Kiehl's Midnight Recovery Concentrate! I can't live without this! I'm actually almost done with this bottle and I need a new one!
Now onto the fun part! The makeup that I bought with me!
Since I was in Florida for a wedding! I packed my L'oreal Magic Lumi Light Infused Primer for an extra glow under my foundation! As you will soon see I brought a lot of glowy and dew products, because i wanted to be really glowy! Who doesn't to want to glow at a wedding!
For the dewy part I brought my Mayballine Fit Me Dewy + Smooth Foundation! OMG!! I love this foundation!!! It really dose go on smooth and has a very nice coverage! It's also a lightweight foundation so, it feels like i'm not wearing anything on my face! I love Mayballine foundations! I used to use their OG Fit Me foundation and when I used all of that up I wanted to try this one and I love it even more!
I completely forgot my concealer at home for this trip. But, I generally use the Maybelline Fit Me Concealer!
As for blush! I brought with my beloved Milani Rose Powder Blush in Romantic Rose! I love this color blush!! It looks so natural but as the name suggests 'Romantic'! It has a soft pink to it and blend beautifully!
To go on top of that, on my cheek bones, I packed my Pixi by Petra Beauty Blush Duo in Rose Gold! When I use this, I usually only use the lighter side for more of a highlighter. Rather then mixing the two colors together. Since I don't use the pink side of this duo. It gives off more of a gold color, but it's not a yellow gold. It's more of light a whiter gold! Its just so nice and smooth looking!
Last for the face products and probably the star of what is in this bag! Now my best friend introduced me to these Maybelline SuperStay Matte Ink, and I thank her so much for it! Pretty much this is the best liquid lipstick I've ever tried!! I packed with me the shade Pioneer! This is such a pretty color and it goes on so pigmented and like I mentioned before it lasts for SO long!
I didn't really bring with me a lot of eye makeup because I knew I was going to be wearing a bold lip!
I didn't bring an eye primer because I use a small amount of foundation on my eyelids and that acts as a primer! For my eye shadows I just brought my Becca Ombre Rouge Eye Palette! I use this pallets all the time! It's great for every occasion! The blend and layer so nicely!! I love it!
I packed two different eyeliner! The first one is my L'Oreal Linear Intense Felt Tip Liner. So the reason why I packed two eyeliners' is because I believe that this L'Oreal one is drying up. When I first got this eyeliner, I really did enjoy it! It went on nicely with the felt tip, but two things. One, it smudged on me so much and I haven't had this for that long and it's already drying up! So, I don't know if I would purchase this one again. For the second eyeliner I brought with me was my Ciate London Fierce Flicks eyeliner! I actually do like this one a lot more then the L'Oreal one! This is more persist and last longer!
First for my my lashes I brought my Revlon Eyelash Curler. I do not like this eyelash curlers! Sorry for being so blunt but this sucks! The black plastic "cushening" part inside the handles, come out so easily that I have such a hard time holding them closed. I also feel like this doesn't fit my eye shape. I always have a hard time curling my lashes, but it's all I got! If you know of a good eyelash curler, let me know in the comments!
Last for the finale touches! Drum roll please! The mascara I packed!! Ok, that was a little over the top! Sorry let's bring it down a little!
The mascara that I pack was my Covergirl Super Sizer Fiber Mascara! I love this mascara! It just makes my lashes fuller and longer! Which is exactly what I want in a mascara!
The last items that are in my travel toiletry bag are my makeup brushes! Now I'm going to go in order of the picture. Not the order of use like my skincare!
Before I go into my brushes. I didn't know if you noticed, but I didn't bring a tool for foundation application. That is because I used my figures to apply my foundation. I found that the best way to apply my Maybelline foundation.
I'm just going to go to make a list of them because they all pretty much do the same thing...blend eye shadows!
Real Techniques Base Shadow Brush
Beau Gachis Smudge Brush
Elf Contour Brush
Sephora PRO Tapered Crease Brush
Unknown name of brush or who it's from (sorry!)
Elf Blush Brush
I really do like all of these brushes! Maybe next time I should put them in my carry-on so I don't lose them!
That is everything in my travel toiletry bag!
I hope this helped you in anyway with packing and gave you some new ideas of how to pack your self care necessities!
I hope you enjoyed!
Have a wonderful day!
