I have been following Formulary 55 for a while now on Instagram, and every time they post a photo I always wanted to try their products! So I finally got on their website and order a few goodies!! When I looked up their website, it describes themselves as a, "Luxurious products for bath, body, and home. Formulated with intention and crafted with care." Which is exactly what they are!!! Even though their products are luxurious, the prices of the products are not so expensive! Which is awesome!
Reading about them on their website really shows you what an amazing brand they are! They are based out of Pueblo, Colorado! Which...side story! Some of you might not know but, I used to live in Denver, CO for a little bit and I always used to pass the exit for Pueblo! So, it's kind of cool for me that I actually know where they are kind of located! Anyways...I have tried a few of the products that I got, so ill tell you know a bit of what my first impressions were!!
The first thing that I picked up was their beautiful Milk & Honey shea butter hand & body creme! If I were to describe this in three words they would be, rich, hydrating, silky smooth texture! I apply this to my hands every night! Since it's so hydrating I focus it a lot on my cuticles and it keeps them hydrated for quite a long time!! I would highly recommend this if you are in need for a new hand cream! Works great on the body too!!
If you haven't figure out by now, but I LOVE face masks! If I could, I would use one every day, but for now we try what we can and when we can! When I saw that they had facial masks I had to pick up their Rosehip & Clay facial mask! This is to be a detoxifying mask that softens the skin naturally! I've also never used this kind of mask! Meaning... that in order to use this mask you have to mix it with water to make a past and then apply it to your face! Sounds very calm and soothing! Can't wait to try this!
I was just browsing through their website and I read one of the reviews online about this Oat facial scrub! The review said it made their skin "polished and hydrated". Since the winter is coming, I figured would pick up this scrub for my extra dry skin...yucky!
I originally got this order before I went on holiday vacation thinking that it would be nice to use this on one of my days off! Unfortunately,
I didn't get a chance to use this. But, I'm still really excited to!! I should probably tell you what it is! This the Sea Mineral foot soak! I can't wait to use this! This has peppermint and eucalyptus and it says on the back of the envelope that it fizzes!!! What fun! I'm defiantly trying this with my husband!!
The last thing I picked us was this Sea Mineral body polish! Since I just used up my other body scrub, I figured I would pick this one up! It says that it has grapefruit and rosemary in it! On the back of the envelop it say that the grapefruit and rosemary aren't scent purposes rather its for the skins benefit! It also say that you can use the salts with water or for more hydration you can mix the salt with coconut or olive oil, which I think I'm going to try!
I know I just stated that, that was my last product that I order, but the family at Formulary 55 was very nice and threw it on of their Bay Rum & Smoke shea butter soaps!! Which was so sweet of them!!! One thing though...I can't find this on their website or their instagram so I don't know what the deal is with this bar of soap, but I am so stocked that I get to try it!! I haven't opened it yet, but smelling it from outside the package.... dang it smells so amazing!! It dies smells a little Smokey, which I'mnpt used to when it comes to soap bars, but I'm defiantly going to give it a try!!!
Ok, I think I've said "stocked" a couple to many times! So, I'm going to go!
I hope you enjoyed!
Have a wonderful day!
