Recently I was browsing around my local CVS and I've never seen a Wet 'n Wild display there before. But, when I was there a few weeks ago I noticed that they had a very small display of Wet 'n Wild things! I got extremely excited! I remember having one of their eye shadow pallets and blush from the when I was younger! It was so awesome, because when I was younger and I had very little money from babysitting and I was still able to go to Rit-Aid and pick up a decently good, cute little eye shadow pallet for like $3!!! And it's still like that after all these years! If not , then BETTER!!! WAY BETTER!!
Since they had a very small display at my CVS. They only had a few foundations (not all the colors), eyeliners and highlighters! I picked up one of their highlighter (obviously!) and a cushion foundation. I had never tried a cushion foundation before! So, I thought why not try this Wet 'n Wild Mega Cushion Foundation as my first one! and
It was really cool! On the small display of these Wet 'n Wild Mega Cushion Foundations they had a little paper tester thing so you can figure out your right shade! You know when you get a sample, it's on a little card and you lift up a little plastic part and it has a swatch?! Well that how this was, but it had all the shades!! I totally should have taken a picture of it, but it didn't. I'm sorry!
The color that I went with was 107A Cream Ivory! I think it's a prefect match! Which you'll see later on!
This Wet' n Wild cushion compact is pretty stander when it comes to packaging! As soon as you open the compact you get a great mirror! Then you get a little puff that lays on the lid of the actual product! Once you open the lid you can see the cushion and when you press on it, the foundation comes out! So cool!!!
I would say that this foundation is light to medium coverage, but definitely build able! You can see from the picture above that it did cover up my redness and evened my skin out! I did only apply so far with the puff and it did give me good enough coverage. I do think that if I use a brush I would be able to get more coverage out of it!
Here are two photos of me after I finish applying all of my makeup!
I would say that its more of a natural dewy finish! I also realized that I didn't powder my face, which I normally do, do! To tell you the true though, I feel like you don't really need to apply powder with this foundation! My blush and highlighter also went on so smooth and easy!
In these picture, you can see after so many hours of wear, the foundation is still holding strong! It did come off a little bit on the right side of my face, because I talk on the phone with my right ear a lot, so the foundation came off from that! Other wise I think that it stayed on pretty well through out the day. This foundation is also very light and doesn't feel like you're wearing anything on your face!
You guys!!!!!! I really highly recommend this cushion foundation! Especially if you never tried cushion foundations before! for the price and quality and just everything, it's so worth it!!!!! Plus, I forgot to tell you it also has SPF 15 in it! You really can't lose when it comes to this foundation!
I hope you enjoyed!
Have a wonderful day!
