I've been wanting to try the Pixi Glow Tonic for a while now and I've heard wonderful things about Pixi and their products! Pixi is a London, England based brand! In the U.S., you can purchase Pixi at Target or off of their website directly, Pixi.com!
Pixi is a natural brand that brings out quite a lot of vegan and cruelty free products! So we'll see what these 2 products have to offer! Let's jump in!
While I was in Target, I was bit of in a rush and grabbed the Pixi's Toner and their Glow Mud Cleanser, thinking that the cleanser was really a mask. Not until I got home, did I realized that the "mask" was really a cleanser! All I read on the cleanser was "Glow Mud" when I quickly grabbed it. On the car ride home I was actually thinking 'I wonder if it's going to feel like a mud mask?'! I was really excited to use it! When I got home and realized it was a cleanser I figured I would try it anyways!
Man!!! This cleanser does kind of feel like you're putting on a thick layer of skin colored mud on your face! It actually feels really good! It is thick, but I don't use too too much and it it feels moisturizing and cleansing! I have been pretty much been using this cleanser mostly in the morning! It's really good for my sensitive skin and really does do a wonderful job of getting all the crap out of my skin! I can deffent'y see this being a staple in my skin care routine!
Next up is what I've been waiting to try, the Pixi's Flow Tonic toner!!!! I have heard such great things about this toner! I really belive that toning your face is one of the most important step of your skin care routine! The reason why I wanted to try this Pixi toner, is because it has Glycolic Acid, which helps exfoliate the skin and it also has Aloe Vera in it, which helps calm the skin! Plus it's alcohol free, which doesn't dry out the skin!
But I have to say I'm not sure how I feel about this yet. First off I'm not loving the smell, but it's something that I can look past! Also, after I apply it does feel a little tacky, that does go away once it dries. I think I'm going to have to try it out more and see how it goes!
I hope you enjoyed!
Have a wonderful day!
