COVER FX - NATURAL FINISH FOUNDATION (A REVIEW)

Picture
Hi Everyone!

last month I did a Ulta Haul and I picked this Cover FX - Natural Finish Foundation*! I mentioned in the haul that I would do a review on it! So here we are! Reviewing this foundation!
Details from coverfx.com*:

A water-based liquid foundation that imparts a radiant finish skin.

This oil free foundation has a silky, hydrating feel that glides on the skin and imparts a radiant, second-skin finish. Loaded with skincare ingredient, it contains Vitamin C and Vitamin E to protect against free radicals.

The lightweight texture is formulated to leave a luminous, soft focus finish to the skin and is buildable for a medium to full coverage.

Normal to Dry Skin
The Shade Range
The Cover FX shade range is bases on undertone. For example, when it has an N, P or a G before the number, that stands for the undertone.
N = Neutral
P = Pink
G = Gold

My Shade
Since I got this foundation on Ulta.com, who doesn't have a shade finder on their website. I went over onto the Sephora website to use their shades finder. On there, it said that my closes match would be P40. I'm not a big fan of pink undertones in my foundations. I like there to be a more neutral undertone in my foundations.

Therefore  when I went to look at the N40, which is the neutral undertone of the P40 shade. I saw that it was for medium skin with neuratal undertones and I don't classify my skin to be medium. I classify my skin as light to medium, which made me end up with the shade:

Application
On the back of the bottle it says to shake well before use! It also says, that you can apply this foundation with a brush, sponge or with your fingers! I find that to be pretty cool, because you can apply the foundation whichever way makes you more comfortable! I do have to say, though, that with each different application method. You will end up with a different kind of finish. For example, if you apply with a brush, you will end up with a sheer coverage, which I enjoy for an everyday look! When applying with your fingers you're going to get more of a full coverage finish! Then with a sponge you get a medium coverage! With all of these application methods, you can still build it up to your desired coverage! Always start with a little amount and see if you need or want more!

For me personally! I'm not a fan of applying foundation with your figures, I don't like how messy it gets on my hands! Therefore, in this post I tested out this Cover FX - Natural Finish Foundation * with a sponge!

My Thoughts
Ohhh do I have thoughts on this foundation! When it came to this Cover FX - Natural Finish Foundation * for 45$/1fl. oz. I really wanted to test it out, since this is the first time I've tried a higher ended foundation. I've been testing it out for a little over a month! In that time, I have worn it in a few different ways of application and made up my mind over this foundation!

What It Feels Like On The Skin?

It is lightweight like it says, but you can still feel it on you face. You can feel that you are wearing foundation, buy its not heavy on the skin.

After application, if you touch yoir face, it will feel a little tacky. In order for it to not feel so tacky, you may want to use a setting powder.

What It Looks Like On The Skin?

This foundation made my skin look so even, radiant and smooth! It didn't cake around my nose! I'm also not mad about the shade! I feel like it matched fairly well!!

Does It Last On The Skin?

This isn't a long wearing foundation. Which is ok because didn't mention that it would be.

With all of that being said!!!

Since its not long wearing. you won't have to worry from it lasting all day...just all evening! I fee like this is a beautiful evening foundation! I plan on wearing it to my Brother's wedding next month! It's radiraint, hydrating, smooth looking and just damn beautiful for a night out! It doesn't have any SPF so if you take pictures you wont get flash back! Pluses Since its an evening foundation, you won't have to worry about the sun damging your skin ;) !!
****/*****
I you have tried this Cover FX - Natural Finish Foundation * then please, please let mw know what you thought of it!

Also if you have any question, please let me know as well!

I hope you enjoyed!

Have a wonderful day!
