About a month ago I did a very similar post to this one! Just that this one is going to be on makeup instead of skin care!
I'm really excited about this, so let's just start!
I remember when I was a kid I used to go into Rite Aid with my Mother a"H! Sometimes she would let me pick out one thing of makeup! I remember one time I pick up a Wet 'n Wild eye shadow pallet and I remember I used to play around with it all the time!
I'm sure some of you have very similar memories of Wet 'n Wild! If you do I would love to hear what you're first Wet 'n Wild products was!
Wet 'n Wild was established in 1979 in Brooklyn, NY. Since then, in 2003, Markwins bought it and they relocated to Los Angels, CA where they are today! Ever since Wet 'n Wild hit the streets with their $0.99 lipstick and nail polishes (that remain the same price today)! They have grown into America's #1 valued brand!
Wet 'n Wild has everything you need! From liquid fountains to mascara! All at a cheap price! Even though their prices are cheap their quality in their formulas have definitely improved over the years!
I really do have to applaud Wet 'n Wild for being such a hard working brand! They have come so far and they are only getting better!
If you've never tried Wet 'n Wild then I highly recommended you do!! You really can't go wrong with the price and quality!
I have tried quite a few Wet 'n Wild stuff in my life, but the ones that I have in my current collection are these! The first item I have from Wet 'n Wild is their MegaGlo Hello Halo Liquid Highlighter in Halo Gorgeous! I wore this more in the summer time, because it can give you an intense glow if you go to far! I like a more of an intense glow during the warmer months! Next, I have my most beloved foundation! I have their MegaCushion Foundaion that I mention a lot!! I have mine in 107A Cream Ivory and it matches my skin perfectly! Lastly I have their MegaGlo Duel-Ended Contour Stick! In the past year I have been getting into contouring a little and this duel-ended stick has defiantly helped me to learn how to contour! Thank you Wet 'n Wild!
Carisa Janes established Hourglass in 2004. Janes' mission was to create a brand with luxury cosmetics that have active ingredients in them, but also have functionality! All wrapped in sleek modern design packaging! Which Janes had done beautifully!
In fact, Hourglass is one of the few luxury brand that are cruelty free! Plus, they just announced earlier this year! That by 2020 they will be one of the first high-end luxury brand to be completely cutlery free and VEGAN! Which is amazing for them to do since they are a more high-end/high-quality brand!
Since Hourglass is a luxury brand! It goes a long with saying that their products are expensive and high quality! With that being said I wish I could try everything that Hourglass has to offer, but I also need to eat! Since I really enjoy highlighters and Hourglass has the most beautiful highlighter that I have ever swatches! I some how ended up with these two products!
The first item that I own is their Vanish Flash Highlighting Stick in Champagne Flash! I have been wearing this pretty much every day since I got! It just gives you an angelic glow to the skin! It's beautiful!
This second item I have from Hourglass is new to me and to the market! If you haven't tried any of Hourglass's Ambient Light Powders! Then I highly recommend you do! I have always wanted to try them and I ended up with the Ambient Light Edit - Volume 4 full pallet! I know I'm a little crazy when I say I want to try one, but then I grab something with all of it inside! I'm truly not mad about it!
Australian biased, Furless* is a brand that mostly carry high quality synthetic brushes that are cruelty free! Another product that they have that is cruelty free! Are their Loose Pigments! You may have even seen some of these before here on my blog! I love their loose pigments!
You may have seen these her on my blog before! I love these!! I have never seen anything like these in my life! If you want to elevate your look with some shimmer! Then you need these! I find that with some of the shades you can even get away with wearing these on a casual day if you want just some shimmer on the eyes!
These loose pigments are also very pigmented and blend beautifully! The shades that I have are, from top to bottom, Vicious*, Scandalous*, Shameless*, Humiliate*! They are each beautiful in their own way!
London, England based, Petra Strand established Pixi Beauty* over 15 years ago! Petra created Pixi Beauty with wanting to help women enhance their natural beauty with her simple but yet elegantly curated skin care! To go along with enhancing your natural beauty! Petra also creates makeup that is just and elegant as her skin care!
This is what I have in Pixi Beauty* makeup! I have two lip products and highlighter/blush duo! The top lip product is their LipLift Max*! I have mine in the shade Peony Bloom! Then the next lip product I have is this Lip Icing* in collaboration with Chloe Morello! I love this! So sparkly!
Then I have this Beauty Blush Duo* in Rose Gold! This was the first highlighter that I really tried out for the first time! This will always be my first when it comes to highlighters!
Well, those are some makeup brands that I'm enjoying at the moment!
I really like doing these kinds of posts! It's so fun reading up on brands and what they are all about!
If you have any makeup brands that you're enjoying right now! I would love to read them in the comments below!!
I hope you enjoyed!
Have a wonderful day!
